At Chilton Court and Woodfield Court, we offer high-quality care for individuals living with dementia. However, it’s important to note that we are not a specialist dementia-only home. We pride ourselves on providing a homely environment where residents with and without dementia can live together in a supportive, inclusive community.

There are no separate wings or floors designated for residents with dementia. This approach promotes a sense of belonging and inclusion for everyone, fostering a community where all residents can interact, share experiences, and enjoy the company of others, regardless of their individual health conditions.

Before admitting any new resident, we conduct a thorough assessment to ensure their specific needs are fully understood. We carefully consider the staff resources available, as well as the current mix of residents, to ensure that we can provide the appropriate level of care for each individual. This process ensures that every new resident can be supported in a way that is compatible with the care already being provided to others in the home.
