Courtyard Care Housing is a unique setup within the care sector. Whereas many assisted living, sheltered housing, or extra care schemes offer limited care services, The Courtyard can provide a much higher level of care when needed. This is because The Courtyard and Chilton Court are part of the same building, allowing carers, catering, and domestic staff to work seamlessly across the whole home.
Residents enjoy their own private bungalow, complete with a lounge, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. Each bungalow also has its own internal back door, which provides direct access to the main care home.
This unique arrangement means we can offer care home levels of support in your own bungalow, 24 hours a day, as you need it. Care is not restricted to set half-hour slots, as is often the case in the community; instead, support is delivered around your daily routine and personal preferences.
Thanks to our flexible pricing structure, you only pay for the services you require. You can begin by living independently, and as your needs increase, we can gradually introduce additional services such as meals, laundry, and personal care meaning you can stay in your own bungalow without needing to move into a single room.
Equally, residents already requiring some assistance can move in and benefit from the larger living space and independence offered by a bungalow, rather than a standard care home room.
